My copy of the bill of sale is now locked up in our safe in case something does happen that I can say I sold the vehicle and signed the title over to them. The satisfaction of rolling the car payment into the snowball on my other debt has been very very satisfying. BUT Please - follow up with your motor vehicle registration to ensure the tags & title gets transferred!! I should have not let him take the plates, but I failed to do this and the creep who bought my car racked up $50 in toll violations which I had to spend a lot of time/energy fighting!
